Heshimu Evans Leads Benfica to LPB Semifinals

Former Kentucky forward Heshimu Evans had an impressive game to help lead Benfica to a quarterfinal-clinching 112-74 victory over AD Vagos in the Portuguese LPB Playoffs.

Evans was 9-12 from the field and 4-5 from the free throw en route to a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. The former Wildcat also added 6 steals in the win.

Evans' Benfica teammate, Will Frisby (Miami), led all scorers with 32 points on 10-11 shooting.

Benfica will advance to Friday's game 1 of the LPB semifinals against VSC Guimaraes.
