Baseball Cats pick up huge verbal commitment

by Rob Gidel @ 1:31 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Wabash Valley (Ill.) College first baseman Tyler Oliver, who graduated from Lexington (Ky.) Christian Academy in 2007, has verbally committed to play for the University of Kentucky baseball program. Oliver, a first baseman, currently leads all junior college players in home runs with 25. He will most certainly help to solidify the middle of the order for the UK Baseball program looking for some more pop next season. Oliver will sign his letter of intent in the spring signing period, which concludes in a few weeks.

UK Baseball coach Gary Henderson continues to get it done on the recruiting trail, finally nabbing the coveted middle of the order standout the program has been missing since Sawyer Carroll departed the program a few summers ago.
