Poole transferring?

Sounds like a done deal to me.

It will be interesting to see what his Dad decides. Can't believe he would make a decision for his 20 year old son. Poole seems to be happy even with the limited PT. Sounds like Dad is the one wanting him to transfer.

What are you doing here? I thought you were out hunting for the next 3 weeks?

I work today and half day tomorrow. Then my 24 day hunting spree begins.

I don't blame the kid if he does, I think there is more to it why he isn't playing, Probably grades.

Kinda sucks. I like Poole. Didn't he make the comment last year that whether he ever steps foot on the court or not, he wants to be a Wildcat?

Yep, he loves it. His dad doesn't.

You don't have to be on the team to be a Wildcat. He can go play at a smaller school and still be a fan. I would do the same for my kid. You only get one shot at this. Don't spend it riding the pine.

If I were his dad I would encourage him to transfer, but he shouldn't force him to. Poole is a young man not a child. He needs to make his own decision, but as his dad I would be strongly encouraging him to go where he could get some playing time and experience. Either way I wish the young man well. He has been a class act at Kentucky never complaining about his lack of playing time.

Lets face it, if he cant beat out Polson for mop up duty, then he's never going to see the floor. My niece knows Stacy Jr and he sounds like a good kid but is frustrated with his lack of PT. But he loves being a Wildcat so he is torn on what to do. Stay here and ride the pine but graduate a Wildcat or go to a smaller school and get PT. I wish the best for him whatever they decide.

Like said above, if his dad encouraged, rather than tried to force then that's cool. But if he's making him transfer then I don't agree with that at all.
