According to real Jerry Tipton, Kentucky shooting guard Doron Lamb is in a walking boot this week and moving “carefully and slowly”. Tipton said Lamb is uncertain about his status for this weekend’s games in Tampa. Call me crazy, but I’ll be shocked if he’s not able to play. I’m not worried about a walking boot. If he’s wearing a high heel, then let’s call him questionable.

that's extremely common. it gives the athlete the best option in hassle free mobility while still protecting the injury. the last two seasons i had athletes in walking boots for about 4 weeks, but they were still playing and practicing each day. it's just a chance for the injury to rest and heel as much as possible when they aren't being active.

Not surprised at all he's in a walking boot but no doubt he'll play.
