A few notes from Joker’s press conference…

- Joker said his team responded well to the disasterous scrimmage on Saturdya and put together their best practice yet on Sunday. He also said that he doesn’t feel like they’re getting over-confident heading into the game.

- When talking about preparations, Joker said the Louisville offense is as hard to prepare for as any (especially with Steve Brown as coordinator, sorry that was a low blow). On the other side of the ball, Joker said he expects a “blitz-o-rama” from the Cards and joked that Charlie Strong will start blitzing the second he comes out of the locker room.

- Heading into his first game of his career, Joker said he’s not nervous before adding that by Saturday, he’ll probably be hugging a toilet somewhere. You and Drew both.

- On the injury front, Joker announced that the only two players out for the game are tight end Nick Mellilo and safety Dakotah Tyler.

- Also announced, your broadcasting duo for the game will be Dave Lamont and JC Pearson. Get excited.
