Trail Cams

It's about time to put out the trail cameras to see what's lurking about.

Hope ya see some big ones.

I've thought about setting trail cams out on the farm, but I think it would drive me crazy knowing about some of the brutes out there when its not season.

I finally put mine out last week. Probably wait til October to check them since I got such a late start.

I've had two out since the first week of August. Got 13 different bucks at one spot, and 9 at another. Nothing real exciting. One 10 point will scare 140, one 8 that will go 120 or better. The rest just basket racks and such. A guy on the property that joins me got a 175+ 10 point. He has 2 pics of him, both taken about 200 yards from my stand. I wanted to go there in the morning, but the wind is going to dead wrong for a morning hunt. I am going to my neighbor's farm 5 minutes from the house. I put out a double blind last weekend to take a friend's son. I'm going there to see what's up. Put out a bag of corn two Sunday's ago, and it was demolished by last Saturday. I put out two more bags last Saturday. We'll see some of what's been getting fat on corn in the morning.
