Kentucky assistant basketball coach Rod Stickland was arrested at 3am Sunday morning and charged with DUI after being pulled over at the intersection of New Circle and Tates Creek. He refused a breathalyzer and failed several field sobriety tests, according to the police report, which also said he smelled of alcohol. He was released yesterday afternoon. Strickland has previously been charged with DUIs in 1998, 1999 and 2001.

Why?????????????? Damn call a taxi or get some UK fan to drive ya home. Geez.

Cop must have been a UL fan.....sounds like he may have a bit of a problem with the booze.

If we lose Strickland it could possibly hurt our recruiting quite a bit. He is the main guy that most of these kids we are after this year have built a relationship with. Could get ugly I'm afraid.

I don't think he will go anywhere. You hire a guy who already has 3 dui's. Another shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Since it had been 9 years since his last DUI, people probably thought he was over it. But, all it could mean he wasn't caught for 9 years. Who knows? Very stupid on Hot Rod's part.
