Eric Bledsoe Now Projected in Lottery

Want to know what a good weekend in the NCAA Tournament can do? Chad Ford of ESPN.Com, who is probably the most plugged in of all people to what NBA GMs are ACTUALLY thinking (as opposed to what fans think they are thinking), has changed his mock draft and now has Eric Bledsoe going #13 in the lottery. That makes four UK players in this year’s lottery according to Ford. His shooting this weekend apparently made NBA scouts drool and now Bledsoe joins Wall, Cousins and Patterson in the projected lottery.

The last time a Ford story came out that had Bledsoe projected in the first round, he struggled a bit soon after. Lets hope this time he keeps it rolling like we saw in New Orleans.

Any scout that says draft Bledsoe in the top 20 picks is nuts, and has no clue. Bledsoe has a huge future, but he's not ready for the NBA. They'll eat his ass alive. He is out of control way too much. He'd be a double digit TO machine next year. Give him another year, maybe two, he will be a great PG in the NBA. He hasn't gotten a chance to lead a great NCAA team yet-Wall played the point.

I think he is ready, a lot of people said that about Rondo, he might not start right away but he has the skills to be awesome, teams are willing to take him on now and develop instead of waiting.

Bledsoe needs to take a good look at where Jodie Meeks is right now.
