Five Kentucky targets in McDonald's game
Five prospects that are still major recruiting targets in the Class of 2010 for the University of Kentucky basketball program have been named to the McDonald's All-American game.
C.J. Leslie, Doron Lamb, Brandon Knight, Josh Selby and Terrence Jones will all play in the March 31 game in Columbus, Ohio. All five are undecided on their college decisions but are considering UK and will be making a decision in the coming months.
The players were among 24 announced on Thursday to participate in the game.
Leslie plays for Raleigh (N.C.) Word of God joins Selby, a guard from Baltimore (Md.) Lake Clifton, as the only two undecided players on the East Team. Selby is also considering Indiana.
Joining those two on the East team will be Tennessee signee Tobias Harris, Duke signee Kyrie Irving and Ohio State signees Jared Sullinger and DeShaun Thomas, who is from Fort Wayne, Ind., and is the lone Hoosier on the list.
Knight, the nation's top player by Rivals.com is from Pine Crest (Fla.), while Lamb, a guard from Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy, and Jones, a forward from Portland, Ore., Jefferson, join the nation's top prospect by Scout.com - North Carolina signee Harrison Barnes - on the West team. Also on that team is Syracuse signee Fab Melo and undecided guard Ray McCallum Jr., the former Bloomington (Ind.) North guard.
The only player selected to the girls' game with local connections is Kentucky signee Jennifer O'Neill of Bronx (N.Y.) Saint Michael Academy.

Just got word that a UK Hoops signee was also named to the Girls McDonalds AA team
