I honestly don't know if the best football coach of all time could help us. The sad part is that the media tends to think Joker will get another year.

They just ratted you out on tv too. They said UK football makes twice as much money as UK basketball. So now there is no excuse not to pay a big time coach. You as fans should demand it.

Rich Rod, Mike Leach, John Calipari (lol). Either one would be a vast improvement over the Joker that's running our team. As bad as our D has historically been, it sure doesn't help when our O is totally inept this season. I lost count of the number of dropped passes again last night. Hard to get in any kind of rhythm when our receivers cant even catch a cold.

That could be a new drinking game. Every time a UK receiver drops a pass, everybody drinks a shot!

Joker will just make more excuses this week. Well we suck but I love this team more than anyone.

Holy Cow! This team stinks! Newton has got to be the worst quarterback to ever play for UK. I like Joker but he needs to go. Hire a feakin big name coach. WTF!!!

Yep thats correct but when they spend the money football makes on the basketball team you see the results.......
Has always been that way since Bear Bryant resigned in 1953 because of all the support Adolph Rupp and the basketball team was getting while craping on the football team. And people wonder why true UK football fans will not even watch a UK Basketball game. Calipari makes $3.2 Mil plus endorsements Plillips makes $400,000 plus endorsements, yes folks that is eight times more, Enough said. If the AD would pay for a football head coach maybe we would have one.

Jag, just for the record, you can forget UK hiring Leach. He was part of Mumme's staff that put us on probation. I see his name come up with fans all of the time and they didn't even know he was here. Rich Rod.....meh, anything would be an improvement.

In fairness, the AD at UK knows what the priorities are. Everyone knows at UK the hoops team has to win. Until the fans put the same kind of pressure on him for the football team doing poorly, this is what you get. Somebody needs to put up a fire joker site and the fans need to run to it. You gotta put some of what Ron Zook used to call "noise in the system." Apathy won't cut it. He'll just assume you don't care as long as the basketball team wins. There is no reason a school can't win at both sports. Florida has proven that. So has Tennessee.
