Cats prepare for Final Four game against Connecticut

Experts are starting to weigh in on Saturday night's game. CBS Sports Analyst Clark Kellogg says both UK and UConn are playing at a much higher level than the first time the teams met in November.

The Kentucky Wildcats are now in Houston, Texas, getting ready for the Final Four.

The Cats arrived in the Lone Star State last night. The team is now preparing for a rematch Saturday night with the Connecticut Huskies.

Meanwhile, Butler will meet Virginia Commonwealth in the first Final Four game Saturday night.

Coach John Calipari and his UK team arrived in Houston about two hours later than scheduled Wednesday night.

The team was upbeat, and received a warm welcome from their hotel, the Houston Post Oak.

The Cats have a closed practice today, and an open practice tomorrow at Reliant Stadium.

Experts around the country are weighing in on the match up between Kentucky and Connecticut.

The feeling is the game will be a lot different from when the teams first met in Hawaii back in November.

CBS Sports Analyst Clark Kellogg saw the Cats play twice in person during the regular season.

The first time was a win against Louisville, the second was a loss to North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Both games were in December.

Kellogg says what's amazing to him is the progress the Wildcat team has made since then.

"Especially the upperclassmen production from Darius Miller, DeAndre Liggins, and Josh Harrellson, has been a key factor in this nice blend of young and old," Kellogg said.

This will be a rematch of a game played during the Maui Invitational, but Kellogg says both teams have evolved since then.

"They've gone from caterpillars to butterflies is how I look at it," Kellogg said. "They're playing much differently, a higher level. This will be a terrific match up because both teams are skilled with playmakers at different positions. They come in extremely confident."
