I was hoping more would flop, though. Definitely not liking Marquette thumping Xavier right now, and not really expecting Georgetown to collapse tonight.

Well, now they're down to 6 (now that we beat WVU). Hope those numbers trim lower this weekend...

The big east is such a let down. It was fun watching Ricky P. on the television as a commentator so early in the tournament. Maybe he will retire. I think he is good for the game but he is such a douche bag.

Notre Dame is gone too. The Big East is such a joke. They should have put Alabama in one of their spots. What's funny is Marquette barely made it in and they are really the only team representing.

Funny how the SEC for the last two years has had such a terrible league, but we seem to send at least two teams to the Sweet 16 or Elite 8 in those two terrible years. Rolling Eyes

Only 2 teams from the Big Easy remain in the sweet 16. The only announcer who refused to bob the knob of the Big Easy was Charles Barkley and he was crushing me with his comments on how overrated the league actually is, something I knew all along.

And both of those got in by beating another Big East team. They were guaranteed two spots when the round of 32 started and that's all they got.

There are as many teams from the Mountain West in the Sweet Sixteen as the Big East.

There are as many teams from Florida in as the Big East.

There are as many from Richmond, VA as the Big East.
