Hot Names In Coaching...
This article appears in the Charlotte Observer today after Sidney Lowe resigned at NC State. Interesting to see who some of the new hot names are in coaching. Didn't see Calipari, Tubby, Donovan or any others that have been around for a good while...
Potential Lowe replacements?

The path N.C. State athletic director Debbie Yow will take in her search for a new basketball coach isn't known.
Previous AD Lee Fowler discussed the job with John Calipari of Memphis (now Kentucky), Rick Barnes of Texas, Jay Wright of Villanova and John Beilein of West Virginia (now Michigan) when a replacement for Herb Sendek was needed after the 2005-06 season.
The following is a list of five other coaches who may or may not be on State's radar but are almost certain to be approached by some schools seeking a new coach for 2011-12.
Chris Mack, Xavier: Formerly an assistant at Wake Forest under the late Skip Prosser, Mack has won 50 games in two seasons with the Musketeers.
Gregg Marshall, Wichita State: In nine seasons at Winthrop and four at Wichita State, Marshall's teams have won 271 games and reached the NCAA seven times.
Sean Miller, Arizona: Once a Wolfpack assistant under Herb Sendek, Miller took Xavier to the NCAA four times and is back in his second season at Arizona.
Blaine Taylor, Old Dominion: In his ninth season at ODU, Taylor is back in the NCAA for the third time and has won 188 games. At Montana earlier, he went 141-66
Mark Turgeon, Texas A&M: A former Kansas player who has won consistently in four seasons at A&M. In seven previous seasons at Wichita State, his teams won 128 games.
