We beat UT. In Knoxville. I think the last time that happened Pat Summitt still preferred the sausage over the taco.

And she was lying then.

Vols are Jeckel and Hyde this year.

Guess what? We just did it again. Just to prove it wasn't because Pearl was out the first time, we did it with Pearl back this time.

I believe someone else will be coaching the Vols next year.

That is possible. I think that would be a shame though. He's good for the league. And for having some recruits over for a BBQ I think an eight game suspension and his contract termination is punishment enough. He should be on a zero tolerance tight leash. In other words if there is so much as a secondary violation he's out. But I don't think he should lose his job just yet.

What he did was nothing compared to lying to NCAA. That's where they have to make an example out of him. If they let it slide then they set a precedent.

Since when does the NCAA care about precedents and consistency in their rulings. The NCAA will do whatever they want whether or not it is consistent with any other ruling they have ever made or ever will make. They will justify it becaus "they are the NCAA".

Sadly, this seems to be true.

What about Calhoun? He gets three lousy games next year? How hard can they whack Pearl after that wimpy ruling?
