Lost in the first 10-day evaluation period was the Hoop Scoop's updated rankings of the top 500 players nationally from the Class of 2010.
The University of Kentucky has three of the top 13 players in the country, according to the Hoop Scoop. Brandon Knight (photo) is ranked No. 3, followed by Terrence Jones at No. 12 and Doron Lamb at No. 13. Stacey Poole, the other high school signee, is ranked No. 80.
UK's other signee - Enes Kanter - is ranked No. 1 among the top fifth-year players by Hoop Scoop.
The Hoop Scoop has Ohio State signee Jared Sullinger ranked No. 1, followed by North Carolina signee Harrison Barnes, Knight, Duke signee Kyrie Irving and Kansas signee Josh Selby.
Louisville signee Gorgui Dieng is ranked No. 21, Justin Coleman at No. 28 and Kentucky Mr. Basketball Elisha Justice of Shelby Valley at No. 280.
Indiana signee Victor Oladipo is ranked No. 98 and Will Sheehey at No. 255.
USC signee Curtis Washington of Elizabethtown is the highest in-state player at No. 173, followed by Elijah Pittman at No. 201, Scott County's Ge-Lawn Guyn (who will now attend prep school) at No. 210, Scott County's Chad Jackson at No. 226, Holmes' Ricardo Johnson at No. 253, Trinity's Josh Sewell at No. 320, Scott County's Dakotah Euton at No. 476.
