RIP Melvin Turpin...

reports out of LEX that he committed suicide earlier today.....thoughts and prayers with his family and friends

just read the same thing.......very sad news

No matter the person with fame or none at all, I always hate hearing about a suicide. That must be a terrible way to go and must be a complete and ultra devastating way to know that your loved one took his/her own life.

I get it sometimes why people take their own lives because of those days when you just can't seem to keep going but I certainly don't recommend it nor condone it. I don't think our lives are ours to take. I think that's where some of us are at differences. In my mind, that's like giving up on everything and everyone in your life and on God and saying, "I can't do it and it doesn't matter. Catch you all later."

Just hate to see that. One of my best friends' cousins did this and he laid plastic on the floor and blew out his brains because he didn't want to be a problem for anyone that came in and found him and it would be easier to clean up.

Regardless, many thoughts and prayers go out to the family and close friends of Melvin Turpin. God Bless You!!

He was a hero of mine growing up. I really hate that he did this.
May the Lord be with his family.

Very sad, heard in wife was in the hospital with heart problems. Very sad.
