Roth's complete-game gem dooms Tigers at CWS
Michael Roth's first start of the 2010 season was a memorable one.
The South Carolina lefty's complete game, three-hit effort fueled the team's 5-1 win over Clemson on Friday at Rosenblatt Stadium and forced a decisive finale on Saturday.
Roth (2-1) struck out four, allowed three hits and one earned run against the Tigers. He threw 109 pitches in the win.

Catcher Kyle Enders was 2-for-4, including a solo home run and 2 RBIs.
Jackie Bradley Jr. had a double and drove in two. Brady Thomas, a hero in Thursday's win over Oklahoma, had two hits and two runs.
USC (51-16) and Clemson (45-24) play again at 7 p.m. Saturday for the right to play in this year's championship series.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:08 p.m.
