Today, on his 22nd birthday, Corey Peters signed a deal worth up to $3.295 million with the Atlanta Falcons. According to the National Football Post, Peters received a $767,000 signing bonus and base salaries of $320,000, $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000.

Peters is in a great situation in Atlanta. There is plenty of playing time to be won at defensive tackle for the Falcons and Corey has a legitimate shot at earning a starting role in his rookie season. Go ahead and add him to the flood of Wildcats to keep an eye on in the NFL. We have a whole lot of box scores to check this fall.

Congratulations, Corey. Now get out there and rip off some NFC South heads.
