TUSCALOOSA, Ala.(AP) -- Jeffery Taylor made 1-of-2 free throws with 6 seconds left to help Vanderbilt complete a come-from-behind 65-64 victory over Alabama on Wednesday night.
The Crimson Tide's Anthony Brock then missed a shot in traffic and JaMychal Green couldn't control the ball for a follow-up attempt as the final seconds ticked off with the Commodores (13-3, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) claiming their seventh consecutive win.
Jermaine Beal's jumper gave Vandy a 64-62 lead with 47 seconds left. Green tied it with two free throws 11 seconds later after starting 1-of-5 from the line.
Then Tony Mitchell fouled Taylor, who missed his first shot before putting the Commodores ahead after they trailed by 10 points 2 minutes into the second half.
Alabama (11-5, 1-1) had won four straight games by an average of 15 points.

I think Bama was up for most of the game. I was switching back and forth between this game, Clemson/UNC, and Kansas/Nebraska. I was begining to think UNC and Kansas both may lose but the Jayhawks wore them down in the second half. UNC looked like crap so the night wasn't a total loss.

Texas was in a close one with Iowa State last night too. They were down at one point after the half. Would loved to have seen that upset. I was flipping back and forth between UNC, Texas, and Kansas too.
