It's just one game. Cats couldn't throw it into space, but still came back to tie it at the end. I wonder if these guys are ever gonna get it that they need to come out on fire, with almost desperation every game. Their intensity wasn't there. The refs didn't help any, but shooting that poorly from the three and you're gonna lose most games. I'd rather see it now than later. Something has to light a fire under these guys, maybe this will be it.

At the start of the year if you told me we'd be 27-2, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat. This was a game we pointed to all year as the number one chance for a loss. Let's kill UGA, UF and dominate the SEC tourney and see what happens. No big deal.

Wow, I actually just realized that after we tied the game at 65 we didn't score again.

Terrible first half, great comeback, terrible end of game. 2 out of a million from 3 is disgraceful.

I knew it would be a tough game, and refs were bad on some calls, but we played no defense today, They are going to have to learn thats its not going to come easy. We need to have someone hitting some damn 3's. This is I wish Hood could have played a lil more this year.

Why dont we just realize the obvious..This team is 27-2..Very good..Could be 20-9..Should be 27-4..This is a good team with realistic national title hopes..But only if it plays 3-4 games in a row the tourney to its potential..I havent seen them do that all season long,so Im not bettin my $$ on this team winnin the NC..To sqeak out w's over Vandy or Miss st is ok in regular season,we'll be playin teams we havent seen in ncaa play..As weve proven,all it takes is one "hot" player to throw us out of synch..All Im sayin is this team is very vunerable to experienced teams,so lets not go overboard with one loss,but please dont crown them until they prove something worthwhile.

Figured we might lose this game. Short turnaround, Tenn is not a bad team, at home, we've already locked up a 1 seed, hard to stay motivated, the refs helped UT tremendously, and we still almost pulled it off. Even the 96 team lost 2 games.

We'll be fine if we can start hitting threes.

I honestly think that losing today will help this team in the long run. I don't believe in "you have to lose to learn" but think about this. If we win the game today our kids think they can just piddle around and will still win. Now they learned they have to come out and play 40 minutes so they don't have to dig themselves out of a hole. Hopefully this will be a handy lesson come tourney time.

I haven't seen the game yet. Just read some of the things I've seen here and talked to some friends that saw the game. I did DVR it and will watch it likely tomorrow.

Not crazy about having to lose to learn some lessons, but this team played much better after the USC loss and I'm just thinking that they thought that game was a complete fluke and then when they won at MSU and at Vandy, they started feeling a bit cocky. The game turnaround didn't help and at the same time with the win over Tennessee, I would think the players went into this game thinking it would be a fight but not all that bad and they would find some how to win it.

But it didn't happen and with a tough game at Georgia coming up and Florida, we better get refocused or something like this could very easily happen in the second or third round of the NCAA.

I hate that the loss was to Tennesssee. I hate losing in any sport to UT but they're a good program and well coached and not a terrible place to lose if you must.

Long term, I think this loss will serve us well.

UT would have beat any team today. End of discussion!!!! We are just lucky to have tied it at the end to show how good we are, but give them their props.

Well if we would have won then we would be #1 in the polls Monday, which means we would lose the next game anyway.
