He kept calling PPat a senior. That's just sad.

Dykes and Nessler are easily the worst commentating crew in probably the history of man. If you're a UK hater, you probably enjoy what Dykes continuously spews. What is sad is you can actually see him get physically upset when UK wins.

I actually like Nessler and Dykes. They're objective and non-biased. I don't think I've ever seen Dykes "root" for another team during his commentating. In fact, he seems to praise the UK players many times per game.

Wasn't Dykes an assistant coach at UK at one time? I doubt he hates UK.

Either one of you two listen to the games? Seriously. I've seen Dykes give praise to UK players when he has to but never praise to them before he says something about the opponent first. If you watched the USC game, the only person on the court was Downey. Against Vanderbilt he went on spurts of silence cause he couldn't say anything good about them and I guess couldn't say much about UK. And tonight, what was his spiel about the magic number of threes? Just cause you say MSU needed to hit 12 to win doesn't make it so there, Jimmy.

To each his own, but Dykes is absolutely horrid.

That might have something to do with his ire. You could tell tonight he was upset and it didn't have anything to do with the bottles thrown on the court.

I have to disagree. Dykes is pro UK almost as much as Larry Conley. He was an asst coach here and I can tell he still loves the program.

Well to me it doesn't sound like it. Maybe it's where he focuses on one phrase to say at least five thousand times during a game that grates on me, and it usually has nothing to do with UK.

Anyway, I still think he sucks, but if people like him that's cool.

This. He's not very creative. He memorizes about 5 talking points before each game and then just cycles them over and over. Nessler is just as bad. But I've seen Dykes slobber all over Wall and Cousins in the past. I think it's predetermined what kind of 'backstory' they need to promote.

Dykes isn't all that bad, he just thinks everyone else likes to hear his little catch phrases as much as he does.

Well, if you want to call it by credit hrs, he technically is, probably. I'm in my 2nd semester in college, but if I go by credit hours I can call myself a sophomore.

I was referring to the idiot doing the sportcenter highlights. As for eligibility, credits don't mean squat. He is a junior.
