Do The Cats Learn To Play Without Noel Or Do We Start Writing Off Games Including This One Wednesday Night At 8 p.m. On The SEC Network?
Joe Lunardi Says The Cats Are Now Part Of The "First Four Teams Out Of The NCAA List". What Say You?

I say if that's any indication of how they are going to play then you can forget the post season.
I've found a name for this years team. The "heartless cats".

Re: VANDERBILT AT KENTUCKY
All I know is my team is awesome. They might as well just hand us the trophy now. If we beat Mizzou on the road on Tuesday, I will be convinced that we are going to win it all. I cannot wait for Saturday when the Hogs come to town. Woo Pig Sooie my ass.
I don't know what the deal with UK is. How could all the recruiting sites have been this wrong? Noel was a good player, but none of the other guys can play at all. Wiltjer and Polson are probably the only two guys other than Noel that are any good at all. The rest of the team looks like they just aren't ready for prime time. If they stick around they might be good some day but not today. Nobody on this team should be entering the draft. Of course the guys coming in might send them packing for a new school if they don't, so maybe a year in the D-League might not be so bad. Cauley-Stein might be able to play in the NBA but he should stay in school and learn the game better first. But Goodwin, Poythress, Mays or Harrow is NBA material? No.

Re: VANDERBILT AT KENTUCKY
Mays is gone period. He's a transfer 5th year senior. I think Willie will be back. He's got potential and does run the floor. He just doesn't have any offensive skills. If they project Goodwin and Poythress in the draft then I say go and make room for someone who wants to win. I think Poythress is just soft and I believe Goodwin is just selfish. At this point I'm not interested in seeing them return and the draft next year will be much tougher.
If Kentucky is fortunate enought to pickup Wiggins or Randal then I don't see Archie and Alex getting many minutes. Of course, who knows what mentality the new guys will bring in. Maybe a few of them will be the same but I sure hope not.
I'll be surprised if Nerlens is back.

Nerlens won't be back. There's no way he risks another injury. Are scholarships still one year in hoops? If so, Cal should tell them to (Goodwin and Poythress) to hit them to hit the bricks. Cauley-Stein probably leaves anyway. NBA will be able to use him even with no offensive skills. He can learn those later.

Yes, Nerlens is gone. Hard to believe but if they keep Goodwin and Poythress in the first round then they are as well. Stein is not predicted to go so I'm thinking we see him again.
I just can't see how Archie and Alex are still projected in the first round. I am obviously not NBA scout material.

This team has given up. When you look at the stats and realize that Wiltjer and Polson carried the team, you know that you are in trouble. I do not even see us beating Vandy at this point. I still gotta say Go Cats!
