While you were sleeping, the Cats got their 2nd commitment in the 2012 class: Willie Cauley. Cauley is the 5th ranked center (28th overall) in the 2012 class and chose the Cats over Alabama, Florida and Kansas State.

Over the past few weeks, many thought that Cauley, a Kansas native, would chose Kansas State to be closer to home, but a late visit from Calipari on Friday night apparently changed his mind. I hear Cal can be quite persuasive. Cauley joins Archie Goodwin in Kentucky’s 2012 class. The fall signing period begins on Wednesday.
