Some breaking football news this morning as UK has posted openings for two assistant football coaches. I spoke with Matt this morning and he said the rumor is that Larry Brinson, running backs coach, and Chris Thurmond, coach of the secondary, have been let go and the postings are to replace them. None of this is confirmed yet, but the jobs are posted.

Also, a credible message board poster says that Steve Brown has been reassigned to defensive backs coach. Again, this is not confirmed. It is a rumor. But, Joker has shown in his short time that he’s willing to shake up his staff to get what he wants this wouldn’t be surprising in the least.

To hell with reassigning Brown, fire him!

So, word is Randy Shannon may come to be Co-DC with Brown? Please, this man is way to qualified to share the job with Steve Brown.
