Jon Hood- what ya think of him?

Hit some 3's in last nights game, I am hoping Cal uses him more for that, Hood I believe is to slow for anything else, I always thought he should just shoot 3's all day long at practice. I was just wondering what you guys think of him? I don't know how to take him. I do hate the way he walks, he acts like he is walking on glass barefooted. I support the kid don't get me wrong, I just think he should just stay outside and hit the shot.

Great player in the Sun Belt or Ivys etc etc. Its just hard for a great player to get his due with elite players surrounding him.
If Billy were still around he'd be starting.

He plays hard, and is showing a lot more confidence this year. He can jump out of the gym, and does shoot pretty good. He will be a role player at best with the talent Cal gets. Who is Billy?

He's got a point

I was as happy as anyone when we hired Billy G and I thought he was gonna be the next coming of Rupp. He wasnt, and he wasnt the right man for the job, but i do not hate the man and I do not hold any ill will toward him, it didnt work and he is gone. At least he didnt leave things like Sutton did.

I wasn't happy with Gillispie, but he wasn't left with much when he got hired on. But I am glad he is gone. We needed someone to awake the UK basketball program and get it back to where it should have been. Billy G just couldn't do it.

I was never impressed with him. Hated the way he grinned like a moron when we were getting our butts whipped.
Never so glad to see someone get canned.
