LEXINGTON, Ky. – Big Blue Madness, the first open practice opportunity for Kentucky's 2010-11 men's and women's basketball teams, is Friday, Oct. 15. This will be the sixth time Madness has been held at Rupp Arena. Fans will be allowed to enter Rupp Arena beginning at 6 p.m. the night of Big Blue Madness.

Madness Timeline:
• 6:00 p.m. - Doors Open
• 7:30 p.m. - Event Begins
• 9:30 p.m. - Event Concludes

Blue-White Scrimmage: The Blue-White Scrimmage has been scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in Rupp Arena. Tickets are available for $10. A portion of the proceeds from the gate will go to charity. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster and during regular hours at the UK Athletics Ticket Office (M-F, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.) and Rupp Arena Ticket Office.

Madness on TV: UK fans without tickets to Big Blue Madness have a variety of TV options for watching Kentucky’s first open practice opportunity. The Big Blue Sports Network will televise the festivities live, from 7-9:30 p.m. (ET), on FS South (State of Kentucky ONLY); WYMT-TV in Hazard; WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville; WKYT-TV in Lexington and on WMYO-TV in Louisville. Fans can also view Big Blue Madness live for FREE on the University of Kentucky website at www.ukathletics.com or www.espn3.com.

Other Big Blue Sports Network affiliates will carry Madness on a tape-delayed basis, including WBKO-TV (12:05 a.m. CT) in Bowling Green; WTVW-TV in Evansville (10 p.m. CT); WSAZ-DT in Huntington (10:30 p.m. ET) and WDKA-TV in Paducah/Cape Girardeau (9 p.m. CT). FS South will re-air the event on Monday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. ET.

Going to be watching it from my couch, that way I don't have to watch the womens practice.

Kinda strange its at 7 this year instead of midnight but its all good.

UN-GD-BELIEVABLE. What is the point of showing two hours of BBM, if you are going to show an hour and a half of BULLPOOP. This just pisses me off to no end. Everyone in the marketing department that came up with this plan should be shot in the screwing head. Stupid Happy Police.

I watched a lot of it, but after a while I turned over. They never play any defense anyways. lol I always like to see the introductions more than anything and then watch a lil while of basketball.

The introductions are the best part of the whole show. That and the dancing guy in the stands.

The dancing guy danced in my aisle! Kanter's enterance may have been the best ever.
