The three game homestand in the middle of the season will be huge. Go 3-0 and you could be playing on New Year's Day this year.

My picks on W/L

2010 UK schedule

Sept. 4 at Louisville - W
Sept. 11 AKRON - W
Sept. 18 WESTERN KENTUCKY - W
Sept. 25 at Florida - L
Oct. 2 at Mississippi - W
Oct. 9 AUBURN - W
Oct. 16 SOUTH CAROLINA - L (spurrier just has our #)
Oct. 23 GEORGIA - W
Oct. 30 at Mississippi State - L
Nov. 6 Open
Nov. 13 VANDERBILT - W
Nov. 20 CHARLESTON SO. - W
Nov. 27 at Tennessee - THIS BETTER BE A G.D. W but will probably result in a L.

Final Result: 8-4 because we always seem to give it away to Tennessee!

I agree with those wins for the most part. I also think 3 of those 4 Ls are winnable. If you guys would commit to getting a top notch coach, you could go 11-1 with that schedule. But Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, and South Carolina could be losses just as easy. And possibly Louisville too. But 8-4 sounds about right which should get you to the Outback Bowl.

I picked Auburn and Georgia as W's because they're at our home. Ole Miss because they're losing that Snead guy to the NFL draft, even though he didn't look AS effective this year compared to last. I'll trade losing to UL for kicking the ever loving snot out of S. Carolina. Sacrilege I know, but Spurrier pisses me off.

And I second that notion about committing to get a top notch coach, Jag. Right now, Joker is on my list similar to how UL fans had Steve Kragthorpe over the last 3 years. In Louisville, you couldn't go anywhere since the guy was hired with some UL fan calling him an idiot in some way. Not saying "Let's Fire Joker" right away, but I think its fair to be a little cautious right now about him. I think most of that for me though stems from the last UT game, I was extremely pissed to the point I had to leave the pub I was at because there was a UT fan in there and I wanted to go deck him.

Blue Dude's Joker Watch:

-Joker better get on the ball because this "let's go 4-0 against cup cake, non conference schools and pray to god we win 2-3 SEC games to get a bowl game bid" plan is getting, quite frankly, OLD.

-OK Joker, you got 1 loss to play with, better make it count. You have had a VERY favorable schedule this year, sir. First year as HC or not, you been in charge of this offense for 4 so you need to get it figured out. Fire Steve Brown too.

-Steve Brown still needs to be talked to about getting the defense ready to go in the first half because giving up nothing to S. Carolina in the second and rallying to get the W was pretty big. Good way to earn a few brownie points for beating Spurrier like Brooks couldn't do, but we still got a long way to go.

-After taking a couple weeks away going 1-2 in the last 3 bringing us to a total of 5-5 has done it for me. Joker and Brown have to go. This schedule being more than favorable and only having 1 of the 3 traditional big boys of the last 6 years (Florida, Bama, LSU) on the schedule and losing 5 is unacceptable. 8-4 should be where we're at and we're not. This plan of scheduling 4 easy games and praying to god to win 2-3 conference games is ridiculous and this is why we're behind in the SEC. That plan worked after the first 2 or 3 bowl games but it's not working for me anymore. The program has plateaued and I don't feel I should give Joker a chance because he's been in charge of the offense for at least 7 years and been head coach in wait for 4. Thats just my opinion.

-SUCK IT JOKER... SUCK IT LONG, AND SUCK IT HARD /seanconnery.
