Losing in the SEC Tournament and an underwhelming 4 years at Auburn cost Tony Barbee his job. Some names I hear mentioned to take his spot are Bruce Pearl and Rick Stansbury among others. News broke during the Vandy/Miss State game.

I can't imagine why Stansbury would want to come back into coaching to go to a school in the same conference that is basically the same situation. Auburn might have a bit better facilities and money, but their fans probably care even less about basketball than MSU's fans. I could see Pearl taking the job though.
