I think they end up playing Arkansas and need to win the first game to ensure a spot in the dance. They may even need to win two.

Agreed.........I also think they need one more win to avoid the NIT.stuckinknoxville wrote:I think they end up playing Arkansas and need to win the first game to ensure a spot in the dance. They may even need to win two.

Somebody explain to me why Missouri is a lock. They came in sixth place in the SEC. UK beat them. If they loses to Ole Miss should they not at least be a bubble team?

Mizzou gets a lot of love for beating VCU and Illinois. VCU is a big win but Illinois? Not that much. Meanwhile UK beat Maryland who has two wins over Duke. They also beat Mizzou head to head. Mizzou was seeded sixth in the SEC Tournament while UK was second. If Mizzou loses to Ole Miss, do we not at least discuss this? I'm not saying I wouldn't take Mizzou, but I don't think it should be a lock.

I'm not too worried about it. I'm ready for this season to be over. Tired of watching this bunch of sissies.

Hopefully we can get two more wins. I'd like to see us win this thing.

OK so Mizzou goes down to Ole Miss. Someone explain to me why they aren't a bubble team. They lost 10 games to UK's 11. They lost to UK head to head. We're just handing the NCAA bid to them because they beat VCU? What about UT? They also beat Mizzou. Plau they beat Wichita State. Isn't that about the same as a win over VCU? I don't get it. What about Bama? They went further in the SEC Tournament, were seeded higher in the SEC. Do they not get some consideration over Mizzou?

I'm sure everyone here appreciates your stance for the Cats, but as has already been said on this topic. I think we're all sick of this team.jagator wrote:OK so Mizzou goes down to Ole Miss. Not really defending the Kats, just wondering why Missouri gets special treatment. What makes them a lock over UK and UT? They don't even question Mizzou. Shouldn't they be sweating it out like the other teams with similar records?

I agree with you 100% on Missouri. That's what you get when you're on top.jagator wrote:Not really defending the Kats, just wondering why Missouri gets special treatment. Doesn't matter in the long run. Either you're great or you're going through the paces.
I've never looked at UK history and relished an NCAA bid.
Cats is spelled C-A-T-S not Kats.

Re: CATS AT SEC TOURNAMENT...
It should be Kats. There's 500 teams out there called the Wildcats. Kats would differentiate from Villanova, Northwestern, Kansas State, Arizona, Weber State etc. Not to mention all the Bobcats and Bearcats.

And by the way, you can't win it unless you're in it. Stranger things have happened.
