You guys going broke buying hats and tees yet?

After four national titles in a three year stretch I learned a few tricks about buying up all those locker room tee shirts and hats. They run a bunch of them out to the stores real quick and sell them for about $25. Fans rush out to get them before they're all gone forever. And they run out in a couple of days. But then guess what? They send out another shipment in a week or two. But by then all the die hards already have theirs. So pretty soon they get marked down and eventually shipped out to the close out stores. If you have Ross stores there, wait about a month and go in there and look for them. The '08 football championship locker hats? They had them in every store, dozens of them. At the end they selling them for $1.99. Also check your online shop on the UK website in about six months. Because they'll probably have them on sale there too.

I have bought one, lol and Buddy I'm with you I decided to wait a while for the prices to drop. I don't pay $25 bucks for a T-shirt, I got one for $6.99. But well load up later.

Nice! That's a nice shirt for 7 bucks! I don't even like UK and I almost want one. LOL Did you get the commemorative Sports Illustrated? Those are nice. Also check the grocery stores for soda cans. Pepsi did the Gator cans. Also look out for the NCAA Tournament DVDs. They have highlights plus all the Final Four games without commercials. Very cool.

My wife bought us all one Tuesday morning for $20 each. LOL, they were FOTL, and since I work at FOTL now, I could have gotten them for $12. I bought two more today for $12 today. I'll refrain from buying any of the $20 ones going forward, but I'll have a few more. FOTL will have more to come.

I want to get the commemorative Sports Illustrated, just been busy doing landscaping, then when I get home to tired to move, lol. I don't wanna pay 15 bucks for a magazine either. lol I seen the same shirt I got for 12 bucks at another store. I'm sure there will be plenty more later on.

You better jump on the SI pretty quick. Those things tend to go fast. And they don't usually get a second shipment.. Do you buy the locker room shirts like they gave the players? I didn't care for the hats. No. 1 greater? Really? How about UK somewhere on the front. The shirts were alright though. I usually try to get those. Only exception was 1996 football. Those hats were hideous.

I bought the whole family the gray ones the players were wearing..... For a grand total of 5 shirts for 135.00.... I dont really like the shirt I like more decorations on mine but that was the only one that was made by Nike that the whole family could match.
