Sorry we couldn't give you a better game last night. Your team should win the whole thing this year. We suck. We can't compete with the big boys anymore.

People criticize Cal for taking all these one and done guys, but really he is a genius. He gets five of the top ten players every year, sends them off to the NBA and gets five more. Not only does he get to use them for a year but he also makes sure he never has to play against them. If Wall, for example, stayed in school for another year then Brandon Knight ends up at Florida. So instead Wall leaves early and he ends up at UK. Brilliant. He'll send Davis to the NBA this year along with Teague and Kidd-Gilchrist and also Jones and Lamb and just replace them with five Mickey D's All Americans for next year. If nothing else he keeps Roy Williams from getting them. He may not win the NCAA Tournament every year but he will win on occasion. Really, that's all anyone can do.

It may not always be in the best interest of the players, but these guys are big boys and should be capable of making their own decisions. Clearly Daniel Orton and Eric Bledsoe would have been better off staying school, but hey, they got paid. Demarcus Cousins probably needed another year in college too but he saw dollar signs. Hard to blame a guy for that. Davis could use another year or two at UK to work on his offense. But if the NBA is going to pay him millions, hard to say "no" to that.

One thing these college guys should think about though is there is a good chance the NBA team you end up on will lose 40 times a year. There is a real good chance they won't sniff a championship. Ask Wall, Cousins, Orton about that. So why not enjoy winning while you can? The money will be there later. The chance to win a ring? Probably not.

Thanks Jag, nice gesture as usual. I think things will be tighter in Gainsville. I'm not feeling Teague as one and done just yet, and still up in the air on Lamb. The other's gone for sure.

I'll tell you how to find out. Check and see what point guard has committed for next year. If he's a five star, Teague is leaving. One thing I've noticed about your team is they have someone who plays the role of everyone we had on out back to back title teams.

Jones=Horford
Davis=Noah
Lamb=Humphrey
Teague=Green
Kidd-Gilchrist=Brewer

even the bench has:

Vargas=Richard
Miller=Hodge
Wiltjer+Moss/Werner

Definitely a team set up to win it all.
