Newt Gingrich is a hypocritical piece of crap. I'm not for same sex marriage, BUT, to shout on the hilltops arguing about the sanctity of marriage and he TWICE violated said sanctity by getting mistresses on the side on his first 2 wives is ridiculous in itself. Newt might mean well but, he's a piece of trash if you ask me.
I'll probably be voting Romney myself when it comes around for KY to vote in the primary.

I follow all of this political stuff pretty closely and after watching two debates and getting all of the talk the last two weeks here's my take on the candidates...
Ron Paul - Like his ideas on the economics but he's not electable on his foreign policy and age
Rick Santorum - Probably most conservative. Whines a lot and looks too much like a kid. Lot of experience but no organization and no funds to make this work.
Mitt Romney - I voted for him Saturday simply because I thought he had less baggage then Newt. However, he's flip-flopped a lot. I like his business background and his leadership abilities. He did start Romneycare. He's ultra rich that helps him with campaign dollars and thus his strong organization. He's held his own while he's on message but if you throw him a curveball, he's all over the place and looks confused, not sincere - reminds me a bit of Herman Cain as far as a message that he's learned to recite although a lot smoother than Cain. Like his business background and he's going to be more likeable by Independents because he's more of a middle candidate. He's the guy that the GOP wants to win and is supporting. He's totally anti-amnesty and that's not going to play well with Hispanics, such as in coming days in Florida
Newt Gingrich - Comes across as an angry and emotional candidate. He's not well organized as he is not on the ballot in Virginia nor Missouri for example. He's not supported by the GOP leaders. Has lots of marriage issues. Had issues as Speaker and has done some work with Pelosi and with Freddie and Fannie. He is for some kind of amnesty program for those illegals that have been here for a long period of time, who have a sponsor family and have been a good neighbor - this will play well with Hispanics in Florida and other areas. Is well-known for his gaffs like VP Joe Biden. Will say about anything and that's scary. Think he'll bust Obama bigtime in the debates. He's a fighter and he put up a fight last week and South Carolinians love a good fighter. It's almost like, we'd rather go down swinging with Newt than losing pretty with Romney.

I'm voting for Newt. I agree with his hard nosed aproach and agree with his view on the issues. I could care less what he's done in his bedroom or other's.
