Marginal talent? Really? You spend too much time watching those dickheads on ESPN. Tebow is the best football player to ever play for UF. Period. None of this surprises me. In fact, I predicted it. Tebow can throw the rock. He just showed the world that last week. The reason he doesn't throw the ball 40 times a game is because he doesn't have to. If he can't throw then why are almost all of his receivers from UF playing in the NFL now? The a-holes hate him because he's a Christian. They hate all Christians. They hate all conservatives. They hate America. If Tebow announced he was donating a month's salary to a local abortion clinic or to Obama's re-election campaign, ESPN would declare him the next Tom Brady.
Harvin, Cooper, Hernandez, Murphy and Nelson are all playing on Sundays now. Somebody was throwing the ball to them.

Maybe marginal was the wrong word. he isnt what we thing of a a classic great QB, he does have loads of talent and his biggest asset as I see it, is he is a winner, he does what he has to do to win.

I don't hate Tebow, and I am a Christian, He was great at Florida, Emmit Smith was pretty good also. Do I think Tebow is getting to much tv time right now? yes. Beside the Lions, who are also going down hill now, he hasn't played anyone that great. Now he plays the bears and Forte is out, and also their QB along with some other bears. So of course the game will be close. I don't hate the guy, But the defense has helped him a lot in games. Guess we will see how he does vs the Patriots and see if he can pull out a win.
Re: Tebow- what ya think
I don't fault Tebow for his relationship with God and think more of us should do more in whatever way we feel appropriate. There have been many players in the past, in college and pro, that have stopped and given honor or made some kind of motion that gives thanks to God or some higher being. Just think that the Liberal media has decided to pick on Tebow because this is the NFL and because so many "experts" said he couldn't make it in the NFL. The Broncos might get clobbered this weekend vs. the Patriots but for now, that doesn't derail Tebow. John Fox, the Broncos' coach, reallly dislikes rookie QBs as noted with his Panther teams but he has found a way for his strong defense to keep him in low-scoring games and for Tebow to do just enough to win and not make any mistakes. Whatever it is that drives him to be the best he can be, that's fine. But he's getting better. He's throwing the ball and he is looking more comfortable in the pocket. New England's defense is really weak so it could be interesting. Bottom line, he's sitting in front of Brady Quinn and whomever, who would love the opportunity to be on the field and a QB that was pretty good, John Elway, is in charge of the team. I don't think Tebow is the long-term answer for Denver and I wouldn't be surprised that they draft another in the upcoming draft, but for now it's a warm-fuzzy kind of story that has the guy that "couldn't" be the guy that "is".
