Yes, UK does indeed play sports other than basketball

Today in UK Sports:

• The Tennis Team fell in the Elite 8 of their Nat'l Championship, matching the best they've ever done.

• The Softball Team beat 10-seeded (and #2 nationally ranked) Michigan in the 1-0 game of their Regional, and will need to beat them again once out of a possible two games tomorrow to make the Super-regionals.

It's pretty cool to see us do well in a -lot- of athletics. This just adds to the successes of several other UK teams this year (the nat'l champion Rifle Team comes to mind)

Yeah, not many people care about anything besides football and basketball, but these guys deserve some kudos.

I actually watched the softball game today. They beat Michigan again and will move on to Super Regionals.

I follow the rifle team a little. Kentuckians are truly the best shooters.
