John Calipari has found a new team to take the reins of—no not the NBA or another college team. An Olympic squad looks to be in Cal's future.
Thursday afternoon, Calipari formally accepted and announced his decision to coach the Dominican Republic for the upcoming FIBA's Tournament of the Americas via CoachCal.com.
Joining Calipari is Kentucky's own, Eloy Vargas.
Vargas, along with other Dominican stars will Screw to Lexington to participate in their own mini-camp.

The mini-camp will precede the team’s official training camp which will include the veterans.

It should be entertaining to see Eloy suit up under Calipari and compete for his home country.
But the most interesting things will be the mini-camp and scrimmage(s) against former Kentucky players.
It should be great!
